Maya Hawke, best known for her role in Stranger Things, has tied the knot with singer-songwriter Christian Lee Hutson in an intimate New York City ceremony held over the Valentine’s Day weekend.
A photo shared with People magazine captured the 27-year-old bride walking alongside her father, actor Ethan Hawke, who wore a sharp black suit and carried her bouquet. Her mother, Uma Thurman, attended dressed in a soft light-blue floral gown.
"The couple’s relationship has been quietly growing for some time, with the two frequently collaborating on music projects.""
The guest list included several familiar faces from the Stranger Things cast. Gaten Matarazzo, Natalia Dyer, Caleb McLaughlin, Finn Wolfhard, and Joe Keery were spotted arriving together. Charlie Heaton and Sadie Sink were also believed to be in attendance.
It remains unknown whether David Harbour, Millie Bobby Brown, or Winona Ryder received invitations. Harbour was photographed elsewhere in the city that same weekend with a companion, according to TMZ.
A Quiet Romance Rooted in Music
Hutson, 35, first hinted at the engagement during a March 2025 radio interview with SoCal Sound Sessions. Host Julie Slater casually referred to Hawke as his fiancée, and he did not correct her.
The pair have worked together creatively for years, with Hawke contributing vocals and lyrics to several of Hutson’s tracks, and Hutson supporting her own musical projects.
Despite their rising profiles in local and indie music circles, the couple chose to keep the wedding low-key, away from the spotlight. No official photos or statements have been released by the newlyweds themselves.
Fans of both Hawke and the Stranger Things series have taken to social media to share excitement and well-wishes, with many noting how fitting it is that the celebration happened on Valentine’s Day weekend.
Representatives for Hawke, Hutson, and several Stranger Things cast members were contacted for comment but had not responded at the time of publication.
